Both are similar money, 30 grand, the 9 has a fly bridge.... both are 200hp.... both are old(er) at 1999 ish vintage

Mostly fishing, bit of drinking with the boys, bit of camping with the son (6yr old). Wife not involved as can't get on it due to disability

Which would you go for?

They're not the same money - you can buy an example of each for £30k but the 760 will be much newer and in better condition. 760s can be had from £20k upwards.

Flybridge on a 9m boat is pretty pointless IMO. You'll also have a 20 year-old boat with duplicated electronics and helm controls etc to maintain.

You might also want to consider an Ocqueteau or equivalent Jeanneau Merry Fisher.

I looked at both and bought the 760 as i thought it better value for money and agree that a flybridge that small was not worth having.

Looking for one with flybridge as i feel it is an advantage when you are fishing near the heads here in jersey..budget 45/50k..

If boat and engine are roughly in same condition and price, I won't hesitate to take the series 9, better interior design imho and larger hull which means better stability. If you do not need the flybridge just cover it with its tarp and leave it unused.
