Hi

I am new to this forum, so hello to you all.

I’ve just recently purchased a 2011 Antares 6.80 and have placed a dehumidifier inside to remove any moisture.
I noticed last week after heavy rain that there was a lot of water in each of the patio door tracks and that the boat leans forward so the water does t flow aft and out of the drain slits, I see there are 3 drainage slits in each of the 3 patio door runners.

has anyone else experienced this water issue in any of their Beneteau / Antares boat And if so, do you know how I can sort it, without the need for a camper canvas.

best wishes

Adrian

My 760 sits level (not bow down) so any water in the door tracks drains out of the slots.

Hi - my Antares 7 had the same issue - I just put a towel between the engine box and the fixed patio door to collect the ingress and wrung it
out at the next visit - easy for me though as I lived only 2 miles from wher the boat was so could make regular frequent visits

Thanks Paul. I have U-shaped seating so not so easy with a towel. I’m hoping to get a camper canvas soon, so that should eliminate the issue, but it would be good to know why our boats lean to the bow and let water in. Happy boating.
