Anybody else downloaded the new 2026 batch of goodies from the amazing Antares Charts (of Scottish anchorages)?
I was out last Friday and used one of the new charts for the first time.

Seconded. Amazing resource for which we're very frequently very grateful when we're poking about in the lesser known parts of West Scotland.

Every year when the email comes through, pay for the update at about £8 on Memory Map, incredible value. I always seam to faff about updating MacBook Air and iPad UKHO Raster charts and memory Map, it is never a straight forward experience. No doubt others find it straight forward.

I find the “new” process implemented about 3 years ago very simple and fast. Updated 2 devices in under 5 minutes, including download and deleting old versions.
Forgot to do the iPad but did that at the same time as helming into Millport, took about a minute!
What I do have is a crib sheet of how done last year to remind me - very easy.

Originally, with the first two or three issues, it was a nightmare, and took ages. Easy and fast now. I even had the confidence to delete last year's, before downloading the new ones.

The Antares charts are an astounding bit of work and incredible value. Well done Bob and team. The number of places surveyed and the detail they are done with make them a huge undertaking and achievement. What an upgrade and contrast to the mainstream charts some of which date back over a century to the time of lead-line surveys.

We cruised the west coast of Scotland last year and met so many people who enthused over and recommended Antares, with good reason.
