Can't decid if looks like Devon or Cornwall or not. Grey desolate looks right - but I don't recognise the harbour. Now I think of it Scotland and the N looks like that as well...

Ok, it is not on the South East Coast.
The picture was taken at dusk hence the grey.
The town has pretty narrow streets rising in terraces - several of which were 'ropewalks' for twisting rope in the towns heyday as a shipbuilding centre.

Pretty little anchorage / mooring in mid Wales. Which as you can see is characteristically un-Welsh in looks.
The town has a couple of resident dolphins which were swimming around the boats in the morning when we got up.
A nice bolt hole on the way between Milford and Aberystwyth should anyone be sailing that way...

Ive spent many a happy time there, my Uncle lived on Rock street (Far right of photo lowest row of houses just out of view)
If you're there at low water you can walk round the bay to the north to a mussel bed, and have Moules Mariniers for free!

They have a regatta (Cardigan Bay Regatta) coming up 12th - 14th August, if anyone fancies it. Quite relaxed mixed fleet racing / dolphin watching.
