Another RNLI Boat Out of Use

God, give me strength...

....... to clean the bird shit from the lifeboat roof without falling off, or to carry a ream of paper up some steps, or to hold onto step ladders without falling off.

Just finished the Mondeo. Replacement rear sub-frame and suspension leading arm from breakers. Bleeding the brakes on my own from outside the car using a broom handle was slightly tricky but needs must. ;)

Project before this was a nut and bolt Series Land Rover restoration. New chassis, new bulkhead and engine rebuild. Bought for a couple of thousand in a totally rusted state. This was a photo from last summer of the first time we rolled it out of the garage for its first engine start:

How many thousands do you think it might be worth now? :)

Next project .... you name it. No job too big. :encouragement:

Great drift from lifeboats to Landrovers.

Why thank you kind Sir. :)

Irrespective of the drift, it appears to pass the time for the 7000 silent viewers, the old timers of whom know me very well so also know very well what will befall posters who try to insult or belittle me. It might not be pretty .... but it's presumably rather entertaining. ;)

Ahmen;)
I enjoyed it

OK .... try #128. :encouragement:

A decent looking partly completed project but again it fails to refute my suggestion that your claim that "there is absolutely no job that I cannot undertake apart from welding" is rather exaggerated bragging.

He might find spoking up and trueing a Veteran motorcycle rear wheel thar has about sixty spokes. 40 for the hub and rim and 20 for the belt rim which is smaller diameter and spoked to the drive side of the rim . The rim/hub spokes often have different length spokes on one side and a different lacing pattern as one side of these spokes actually take the drive, unlike a sprocket which is bolted to the hub.

They can be tricky.............................
