Does anyone know WHICH capacity number does the Victron battery monitor (BMV-700) expects to be feeded with?
The manual just explains how to set the capacity of the battery bank in Ah, but doesn't specify whether it's expecting the 5 or the 20-Hr rate.
Or anything else for that matter, though I suppose it's either the 5 or 20 which are the most commonly used...
Thanks in advance!

Many thanks. T-145 batteries, I suppose?
I also considered them, but couldn't justify a 60% price difference for a 15% higher capacity vs. the 225Ah T-105, so that's what I went for.
Besides, I also suppose that you have them connected in series, and you used 260Ah as a setting, which is what you've got at 12V, right?
And last but not least, if you don't mind me asking, did you use the 20-Hr rate because you found it specified somewhere, or just because you guessed that the most commonly used number was bound to be the right one? :)

Yep T-145, agreed there was a set up in price but with no generator I wanted as much Ah as I could physically fit in.

I calculated the loads and they were close to the 20-Hr discharge rate, so it seemed the logical one to use. Not sure if my logic is correct though.

Interesting, I'm pretty sure that in my downloaded PDF manual it isn't specified
Funny that they made a different printed version... Is also yours a BMV-700?
