My Dad used to look at MFVs with an eye to buying one and converting it for leisure use. He'd have liked that one. Fortunately, he never took the plunge, and we were all perfectly happy with the Halcyon 27! But I do remember looking round boats with engine rooms you could stand up in, monster diesel main engines and often a smaller wing engine!

Knew a man in Hull who bought an mfv took the wheel house off and rigged her as a gaff ketch and sailed round the world!

My dad had a halcyon 27............sold it and bought a hull and deck of a freeward 30.............must be some deep genetic thingy!
