Oh happy day

Yes , we did it again. Like I said before, don’t you just feel so sorry for those without their boats on the water just now. Mid December and today it was just brilliant. We had had some days of rather cold and icy weather recently but today the weather men got it wrong again. One site said strong winds, hah!!! It was nearly flat calm.
So out we went and had a great trip, true the fish didn’t cooperate. They sent the youngsters to find out if we were serious. We were, but they weren’t. So all those youngsters had to go back and tell their relatives of their narrow escapes from the pot.
We went out of Port St Mary

and headed SW to the Calf, even the seals had gone to distant shores, so we pottered there for a while and then moved into the Sugar Loaf bay and finally to PSM bay where some others were trying their luck.

And here is the enemy Captain, fishing our waters.

But the tide was running out and regretfully we had to head in and moor up.
All in all though a great time out in Mid December, and we still have January and February yet to come. So it was a very good decision to keep her in the water this winter.

Keep smiling

And if Neddie hadn't been languishing with a man cold, we could've been out there too /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Lovely pictures Drew, thanks.

Labouring you mean. Since when did working through a fever count as languishing?

Great photos Drew. Of course the weather has gone off now that I'm getting fit again /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
