Anodes

[Farmer Piles]

I am buying a boat that has been on the Severn but has been put into the sea. She has anodes for brackish water, so surely some zinc. Opinions on if I can leave her in there for a week or so until she is transported or should I get her out pronto?

They may be aluminium or magnesium - former not an issue, but a week is unlikely to cause any problems with the latter.

Even if they were magnesium and corroded away in a week, which would be surprisingly fast, it is highly unlikely that whatever they are protecting would suffer at all in that time.
