Anodes What to do ?

Unfotunatly i have a new yamaha sterndrive and in there infinite wisdom they do not make magnesium anodes for it. As most of my time is spent in fresh water should i a) not worry to much b) get some magnesium to bolt on the leg if so where c) get a magnesium anode , bolt it to the hull and bolt a wire on to the engine
I really am at a loss what to do

Best thing to do is have your anodes removed at the same time as your tonsils. If saves another operation later in life.

Anodes - try this

Try calling anode manufacturer M G DUFF on 01243 53 33 36.

Your last option should work perfectly well providing the anode can "see" the leg.

http://www.mgduff.co.uk/Leisure/Magn/magn.html is where to get them.Not certain if you'd really need them or not. Also http://www.steeldevelopments.co.uk/Anodesx.html show magnesium anodes for mercruisers....I heard that yamaha use the same blocks as mercruiser....so maybe the anodes will fit?.
