QQ What type of bolt should be used to attach anodes to steel keels ? (i.e. S/S/galvanised etc.).

Also, is it possible to test these are working prior to launch ?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

I don't know if the type of bolt matters - I just used the ones that came with the anodes. You can check that the anode is full contact with the keel. Use a multi-meter to see if there is near zero electical resistance between the anode and the metal of the keel.

I am building a steel yacht and have welded stainless steel (A4) set screws to the steel keel and underside to bolt anodes on using SS spring washers and nyloc nuts.
