Hi, the boat I have at present lives in fresh water. I'm planning a trip to London this summer for up to two weeks.

Should I change my anodes on my outdrive for the trip? or is two weeks exposure not worth the hassle of changing anodes?

Alternatively is there a temporary - stap on solution?

Cheers

Peter

Two weeks won't take much out of an existing anode - as long as it has a bit of substance in the first place. I'd be inclined to rely on an inspection after a few days in London, just to see if the Big City is causing crazy electrolytic activity. If it is, the likelihood is that the cause is stray current rather than 'normal' salt-water electrolysis.
