Announcing our soon-to-be new home

Looks like a lot of boat for the money - and in fantastic condition!
Very envious.....especially once the mortgage is paid and I guess you will head to warmer waters...!

we're not bothered about the heads as it is. It's only me and Marc and Taran every other weekend. The nav room was one of the highlights for us. We need an 'office' !

The plumbing problem is that although there are two holding tanks, only one is connected and both grey and black water go to it. That needs reconfiguring. Also need plumbing put in for the washing machine (which, btw, will go in the nav room...).

Firstly congrats on the new to you ship , looks very adventurous , I just read out the bit about washing machine to Gwen , she looked amazed then just simply said "oh can we have one " , I just said not on "micaralee" we can't - we need a BIG boat for one of those ...................

Hi Lisa

I was working on the Beneteau next door last month (the one with the rusty keel), and wondered whether she was your one: she certainly looks the part. Rig up some ratlines on the lower shrouds, and you'll be set for the Pirates weekend!

Get the best electrician you can find for the 240V system, one who is fully up to speed on the precautions necessary to prevent stray current corrosion. I did find some issues with the quality of some electrical work done at Fox's about 4-5 years ago, but the chap concerned has "moved on" since then (thankfully no longer doing anything boaty or electrical!). Not had any technical problems with them since, but managing deadlines seems to be a perennial issue.
