I believe it's possible to use a Bluetooth mouse with an android automotive headset. Anyone tried this and does it work with Navionics.

I have tried it with a wired usb mouse and it works fine that way.

If you can get the Android unit to recognise a Bluetooh mouse then it should be good from there.

Might be worth trying a mouse with sa USB dongle...

Does it work with Navionics. Does a cursor appear and enable anything useful.
Yes, I have used a wired USB mouse with Navionics on my Android Car Stereo based plotter. I added waterproof (with the cap on) pass through USB socket to the back of the enclosure forvthis specific purpose..

Great stuff I'll give it a go. Mine is on a VESA mount down below. Swings round to the cabin for entertainment and back over the chart table as nav back up but it's a bit high above the chart table for comfort.

I use Seawi. Its a very underated app. It has a very nice screen with all the data on one screen.

Does it function in terms of moving the chart zooming in and out bringing up tides and stuff.

Have not tried that in particular, but I know that you can just connect your mouse to your screen, and then you can use everything completely normal. I remember when my old phone had problems with the screen, I connected a mouse and saved my files before I bought a new one

the scroll wheel does nothing, but everything else works.
you use the +- on tge screen to loom.
Drag works fine...
I was thinking I might looks for a track ball
