I got the wife one two or three years ago 'cos her car's heater defied all my efforts to make it work for more than a couple of days at a time.

Entered my post code and had a hunt around the site, for my area they are listing a gas alarm which runs on 12v with a three year warranty and the good news its only £9.99. Says they will be available from Thursday 1st Feb I will be outside at opening time
