By leaving the cream with a little C, it makes it easier to abbreviate the name to a TLA (Three Letter Abbreviation) which is meaningful. ie I L L which is what you will become if the ice cream is refrozen after melting /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

wull, axshally, when (in 1965) the gov employed some bods to do word recognition for the updating of all roadside signs, the conclusion was that lower case within a sentence was more recognisable and memorable than all capitals. so there you are ...

the tests included driving a white van, with a typical roadside sign painted on it, past the test panel of people who were sitting on a bench at the side of the road. They couldn't afford to mockup a proper sign and drive the test panel past it! true ... honest ...

Anyone played \'Bullsh*t Bingo\'?

Recently heard from offspring of a game they're playing in management presentations. Each member of the audience is given a list of assorted buzzwords. When one on the list is used by the presenter you cross it off. When every item on your list is crossed off you jump up and shout 'Bullshit'. Keeps the presenters on their toes.

Yup ... we did it about 20 years ago;-) An MBA course I did had hand outs of "bingo cards". Another good game when presenting is for a colleague to give you a phrase at random you've got to work into your spiel!
