Anchors, once again.

Are we in agreement again Lemain? - this is getting worrying /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

And me agreeing with Alain - what is the world coming to?

What is the world coming to? For the first time ever in ybw forums I am considering filtering somebody. MersyMisery seems to be only interested in stirring up trouble between contributing members so that he can sit on the sidelines, giggling, rubbing his hands with glee. It's not the sort of person we are used to and since he has not yet contributed a jot of knowledge or experience, or appeared to be trying to learn anything, it would be better to ignore him. I see that one can easily ignore a user by clicking on their name. I'll give it a try if he doesn't improve.

Or, if I have done him an injustice, maybe he will just settle down and take part in the forums like everybody else.

I am giving serious consideration to buying a Rocna and am looking through your website. I see that you won't accept credit card sales. I am generally very reluctant to deal mail order with a company that cannot qualify as a credit card merchant and the correct anchor for my boat would be the 33, at a cost of €515 plus package and delivery. That is a lot of money to send by wire before the goods are sent. Can you explain, please? While you are about it, can you tell me what a 33kg Rocna will cost delivered to a marina in Spain, in Pounds of Euros? Many thanks.

[/ QUOTE ]We don't accept credit card sales because 1) we do not aim to be a retail outlet; our direct sales are supposed to be temporary while we set-up distributors, and 2) they are expensive - you will find a wire for this amount cheaper.

I assume Lemain you are he who e-mailed me, unless it was coincidence to get two simultaneous enquiries from someone in Almerimar, so the rest of my reply is in your inbox.

In short: for Spain, one of our European distributors (in the process of being set-up now) will shortly become the cheapest and easiest solution.

Yes, I sent you that email. I had meant to mention my link to this forum but overlooked it - sorry. Regarding CC sales, fair enough. I have replied to you by email.
