Anchoring for Sunderland Air Display

Can anyone advise on best place to anchor or moor up to watch tomorrows air display ?
Thanks
Martin

I was there last year.... there were a lot of boats anchored north east of the harbour entrance in the bay and a no-go zone during the display marked off with inflatable yellow buoys in the north outer harbour and north west portion of the bay.

Look similar this year - the NTM is linked below including a chart showing the display axis and the no-go zones.

There will be a lot of other boats around - finding a good space may prove tricky!

Also - don't assume the marina staff know about the exclusion zones.

Hi Halo, what boat?

Are you stopping overnight at Sunderland Marina? There are a crowd of us going down to watch the show.

Fridge WAS full. As was the beer locker...and the wine locker. And the spirits locker. Boat was sailing well on Sunday....when they were all empty :)
