I want to fit an electric windlass and a suitable bow roller for an 18kg plough anchor on my 1972 Broom 37 continental. Has anyone any suggestions as to the best way to go?

Hi Galathea - interesting as that's what we called our 1972 continental we use for our business in Shetland. We fitted a Lofrans windlass on 25mm marine ply above and below the deck and foot switches above the chain locker. A local firm made up a suitable bow roller as I couldn't find anything suitable on the market (cost £480 in stainless), with a wide mounting plate. I think I've got some pictures I could send if you like. I also want to extend my exhausts, but am not at home right now - I am trying to find out the angle of the transom at the exhausts so that I can make up extensions pointing straight aft. If anyone can help, I'd be grateful.
