Anchor watch

I have iSailor and find the anchor watch on there is good enough. I also have an old phone with a PAYG sim in it which means I've also got use of my main phone as well.

PS If you're ever going for a standby 'phone for when you're main one is out of coverage remember that as a rule because of equipment site sharing the networks are split EE/3 & Vodafone/O2. I originally did this for when we're wild camping in the motorhome to improve the chance of at least having some coverage

Even better, get one from an overseas network with free roaming, because then it will roam seamlessly onto any network in your country, Three UK is great for this in NZ

Another vote for Anchor Watch App.
You can set it on one device and mirror it on another. I set it on an iPad onboard and mirror it to an iPhone if off the boat for a short time . Kind of cool to sit in the pub with your live anchor watch display on the table in front of you.

I found it very difficult to use a few years ago, I'll give it another go.
