Had a Furuno 31 on the last boat and it was fantastic for anchor watch, you could see the "dirty fingernail" develop as the boat swung to anchor and could accurately place a waypoint for the actual anchor drop point. The Garmin on our present boat, however, doesn't go down to the small range required for this.
Any comments? ( I don't use the Garmin for watch purposes as I don't believe I can set it up accurately enough)
