Barking mad! A lane near me floods several feet deep for up to a mile quite regularly in the winter, and I thought driving through that was a challenge! I'd love to see what state their brakes were in after that!

I once saw one of these "drive" up the river in Wareham while I was working down there. Must have some time in the latter half of the 1980's The guys in it seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I think there is one in the Beaulieu collection. There was a Montague family wedding at Bucklers hard a few years ago and the happy couple drove off down river in one!

Some 30 years ago, an amphibious Jeep crossed the Atlantic. It was called the "Half-Safe".... Wonder what the EU's RCD would make of its stability curve....
