American or European Resistance?

I understand that fuel gauges work on different resistance, American or European. Does anyone know which is which and what are the Ohm value for Full and Empty?

just checked:
European: empty 0 ohms - full 180 ohms
USA: empty 240 ohms - full 33 ohms
