I'm starting to wish I never polished my boat now. Since i've done my boat i've been having non stop requests from people asking if i'd do the same on their boat. Of course, being nice, i've never said no :(

I started on a yacht today that really needs a job done on her.

I did a sample area first to see if I was wasting my time, below are the results. Remember that this was just 10 minutes work (i'll need to go over this piece again but you get the idea). Pics were taken with a camera phone so it's hard to appreciate what a difference some elbow grease made.

Let me know what you think...

When you are finished, perhaps you would like to do mine.......:)
This is what it should look like when you have finished....

I found some great stuff in a 'pound shop' the other day - it was called Best Grit Grime and Effluent Remover. The sales pitch said 'If Cif won't whiten it and auto-glym won't brighten it - B.U.G.G.E.R. it !!'[
There was some more expensive stuff on the next shelf labelled 'Finest Universal Cleanser Known' with a similar sales pitch.

On a more sensible note remember if you are doing your hull and even though it is tempting don't polish/wax it before you apply vinyl decals etc.

So finally decided to tackle this 'job'. Didn't take many pics as I was flat out the whole day, but you get the idea.

Not great pics, but you get the idea. Big improvement methinks!

Ta. I will print this off and keep it on my boat, just in case I find the energy.

Unless you want to pop over the water and show me how.
