Amaya\'s big moment
Amaya was named Gladeye when I bought her, and owned by the Household Division Sailing Association. She had a Grenadier Guardsman as full time bosun, and he told me that she'd won the Governors Cup in 2000. It's a 1700M race from Cape Town to St Helena.
I was a bit sceptical about this, but have just discovered that it is indeed true, at least on handicap see Governors Cup.
So there's a thing!
