I'm seriously thinking about having 15 years of international high speed anti foul slurry blasted from by bottom and getting it coated with a product called speed liner designed for the cargo part of pickups. I rekon is should last years without any more than a good scrub. it has been used on ships with great success ( so I have been told !) I have seen it used on ribs which were kept in sea water and were spotless after two seasons dispite beech landings and general abuse.
I have tested speed liner, stanley knives to hammers I simply cannot find fault.
finishes vary from gloss to a stipple type which would equate to what a rolled anti foul finish would be like. A gloss finish should cut any water friction helping performance and economy.
I hope someone out there has tried this or a similar product and can supply results.
