I think i will just stick to reading and looking up advice,i really dont like talking with snobby people,i am impressed with the help i got from the other thread,there are some very nice people on here ,BUT also some very ignorant people aswell,your a strange kind of people you brits,maybe this is what happends when you loose an empire,hahaha,
 
Oliveoyl,its not even funny,,beleive me its quite sad and its a sort of bullying,,but the Brits have been bullying there way around the world for a long time now havnt they,,,

This raises a very good question: is the best tactic to battle trolls on this forum to follow BobnLesley's 'Don't Feed The Troll' or is the best tactic that of confronting these very sad people and exposing how ridiculous and uninteresting they are? I have previously subscribed to the 'don't feed..' tactic but I am not sure it works. They will still be around and there will always be responses to their posts; I fell for it myself today. So I think an attack and exposure might actually be better. I am not sure these sad people can actually be 'shamed' but maybe we can achieve something close to that.

What do you think is a good troll jab? Maybe we can even get the input of our own real troll here on this issue?

They make me ashames to call myself a brit. The yachting community I know are friendly helpfull people not these arseholes. Call yourselves adults?!!! ullied little school kids if you ask me.
