I think we are double feeding the same troll here: 'vikingchris' has clearly created another username called 'telliatone'. If you compare the language (that is a very generous description) it is clearly the same user. Just ignore. This is the same troll.

Btw, the lack of correct English used here is the best clue that this is NOT a Norwegian posting. The Scandinavian schools are very good in teaching English and no Scandinavian would make all those awful grammar and sentence syntax errors. This is very probably a native English person, they are unfortunately often the worst in the use of the English language.

You all seem to be having a good stab at VikingChris, he was prepared to put his phone number on the forum twice, and even then people doubted its authenticity, well has anyone actually taken the time to call the number ? Well I have, it is a Norwegian mobile so that is why the number looked different from a normal landline, and I have just had a 14 minute call with a guy who sounds completely genuine and who was absolutely taken aback by your attacks. My experience is not very vast but I take a great interest in what is on the forum and I may well be in a similar position in the future, we all have to start somewhere - give him a break.
 
I can only say that it is a real shame that you have experienced such a negative response from your initial posting. It is not nice to be given such harsh treatment, but their reaction come from probably having being taken for a ride before.
It has been my experience from using this forum that you have to at least done some ground work first. You cant expect anyone to spoon feed you all the information you require. The info given by the users here is all voulantary (spelling gone to pot) so you really have to make an effort too.

I hope this helps explain the reaction. Well from my limited experience anyway.
 
Abesta i totally agree with you,i suspected that a few people had become fed up with newbees coming on and messing about,wasteing peoples time so to say,,anyway i have started to do some research myself about different boats and type of boats which will suit my purpose,its still nice to pick the brains of some of the experianced sailors in here,there is so much info on this site,its great,
 
I can give you some more advice: it will actually help you a lot if you would not to post responses like the one you contributed above:

I can guarantee you that you will have a much more positive response rate on this forum if you refrain from that sort of contributions.
 
Just as an info for other readers on this forum: what vikingchris is obviously referring to here is a pm sent by him to me threatening me with serious bodily damage next time he sees me.

Totally with you on this LJ. 'Blade' looks to me like his latest incarnation to try to fool those perhaps having doubts.

If this multiple identities floats his boat! OK - but he must have been peeved at being sussed by Carol so early in his alter ego.

What is disturbing is the PM business. Fine to engage in the normal banter on the Forum but he has gone beyond this point- if you were a real Lady you may be quite insecure at this stage. Surely there is some way of YBW identifying his pc and closing him down.

Now thats better anteak,,thats quite funny ,where i live its almost in the wilderness and we have all sorts of wildlife walking past our front door,we have had wolfs,elg (moose),and yes reindeer,we have even 2 pairs of eagles living up on the mountain only 2 kms from us,we couldnt let the children out to play in the forest last year because of a report that 2 bears had come over the border from Russia,which is only a short drive from us,,its quite a wild place this north Norway,we have had the first snow of the winter and its -5 now,, , , you have a nice day now ya hear,
