Well you lot seemed to be whipping up a few jokes. Some left me stranded, a few should get knotted and another I re-coiled from. Others got roped in to splice up the fun. Some even have a warped sense of humour. Really you should not be stringing everyone along, just keep them in line. This thread should be cut short like the advertised length of rope. But honestly the listing is all white by me.

Most of my lines have loops. The loops go on the shore side so as to leave more space on the cleat for other users. I've never had a problem releasing them because if it's so windy I can't tug my boat in to release the line, I ain't moving.
My (six) lines all have loops. The initial lines have the loops through and over the boat's cleats for security and to save space. Generally the breast ropes will be there and back and the first made fast. The springs will often consist of a loop taken ashore to the cleat. Releasing them is never a problem since they can invariably be slackened from the boat and taken off well before departing, when the breast ropes can be cast off from aboard. Of course, some flexibility is needed, especially if mooring to a hoop or a tree, or if someone has left a bird's nest on the only cleat.

You're a man of some fibre, I can see.

Fair enough - we often have to move with wind

Ebay is no fun anymore - where's the "ask seller a question" option gone? I wanted to find out if it came with any knots included, or whether I have to make my own - I mean, everyone wants value for money, right?
