Alternative to Arbomast BR in white?

I've had great success over the years with Arbomast BR, non setting mastic, so ideal for a wooden boat where there might be a need to disassemble without causing damage as a polyurethane curing goop like Sikaflex might do.

But...Arbomast BR comes in grey and brown, I need some in white.

Choices?

In a couple of cases whatever I use will be exposed at the edges, but mostly covered.

I've used it for cabin windows on another Fairey with good long term success, but the grey was unsightly, so I want white.

But that cures, so I wont use it, my cabin sides are plywood and getting them out again when curing sealand has been used tends to damage the veneers of ply.
Not totally and easy to remove if needed. I used it on plywood cabin sides without difficulty. I varnished the ply first and never had it stick to the point of damaging the veneer.

Interesting. Thanks. I tried with boatlife polysulphide 'lifecaulk' in 2001 and it was a disaster, didnt stick to the perspex, leaked like a sieve!

The previous owner had used sika and I had a mare getting it apart.

…can’t say I know whether butyl caulk is UV stable but butyl tape is advertised as such and known to be (by those of us with plastic boats!). Is there no way a white butyl glazing tape couldn’t be used - as it forms easily? It could even be removable/reusable a few times, which BR isn’t (the mess isn’t comparable to the tape). Sorry if it’s a wooden boat thing that I just don’t get…?!

Hi @burgundyben . Had a chat with colleagues at work (one FRP specialist and one wooden boat specialist). FRP guy suggested EBT+ but that does set. It can be removed if it’s carefully applied so that you can get a flat blade behind it. The option from the wooden side was butyl if it’s setting windows or deck furniture into wood. Butyl is easily removable, can be trimmed without leaving a mess and is UV stable. If you were setting windows into a grp boat then a hybrid polymer would be an option. Hope that helps! Personally I’m a great believer on butyl above the waterline. It’s available as either a gun option or as pre-rolled tape (which I use).

I dont favour tape, its quite firm, I favour goop in a tube that is softer because the cabin sides are 5/8ths ply and the frames are fitted with no4 screws, maybe no6, its really easy to run out the screws. There are rebates in the ply the plastic sits in, so the bedding compound goes in a dogleg round the rebate, goop in a tubes conforms more easily.
