Can anyone tell me what the stuff is called and where you buy it in the UK?

Thankyou, but I would still have to glass over it.

What I am looking for is, some sheeting with fiberglass layres on each side and some sort of core material. I have come across it somewhere for boat building but I cannot remember where.

Then work out the costings and hassle of going the sheathed plywood route, or the easier pre-fabricated sheet route.

Nidaplast is great. Very light and strong honeycombe type core. Made from recycled materials. See link below:

I've used CFS a couple of times for my epoxy. He is very good and knowledgable. If he doesn't know, he always seems to have a customer in who will help as well.

Fibre-lam a product by Hexcel. very strong, very light. cant help on price.
