Are you a morning shower person or do you prefer the evening option? Bath users, there's an option for you too, in the interests of inclusivity and mutual tolerance.

We being folk who spend time on boats and are therefore unwashed, you should have asked which day of the week, or possibly month, we prefer to shower.

I used to be early evening shower when boating, and late evening bath when at home, but I haven't had a bath for 10 years now, and shower in the morning. It's not wakey-wakey though, it's a hot shower followed by an emollient.

And for every time we finish swimming , climb up out of the sea back on board the boat.
(Don't want salt crystals in the cushions.)

V oted evening BUT have wet hair now from my morning! Working on production platforms in West Africa, always amazed me to see Muricans climbing in their pit after a hot sweaty day and then having a morning shower the next day! Excuse me but what did their pits smell like after even one sweaty night!

"bath"? Are there many super yacht owners on here?

Hot shower after sorting out the boat after a particularly cold/wet/nasty trip
Shower after swimming when somewhere warm
Early evening shower after a day of manual work
Morning shower when not casting off lines at stupid o'clock.
Wet wipes at convenient times when crossing an ocean

You wouldnt have made a very good Submariner Stu :) Go 3 months with 2 times 30sec shower & 3 bird baths then you know what
a smelly bastard is :) You get used to it. But then, you have no choice.
All these wimps with there twice daily showers..............................and no doubt they put foo foo on afterwards :)

Definitely evening shower. WHY would you go to bed all sweaty and smelly and clean up in the morning?

Women (from limited experience) seem to favour a morning shower. I put that down to not doing enough real work to get sweaty in the first place (off to get my tin hat, incoming)

I suppose it depends what you do in bed. a quick wipe is all a bloke needs, a woman seems to need another shower.

Bro did his 22, the latter ones on subs, similar stories off him. Going across Biscay I showered every evening, 500 plus litres in two tanks, more than enough for me and mam!
You ok?
