I believe they were, also, built here in Oz, (at Mona Vale, a suburb of Sydney at the southern end of Pittwater) - but I don't know what size. I have seen a few of them, which might support the notion they were built here.

I suspect they were not renowned for their acceleration but for living on board and a sedate lifestyle (where you spend most of your time at anchor) I always thought them 'attractive'.

Don't quite understand, don't understand at all, why you would want a small yacht ketch rigged - the sailed are hardly big, reefing of small sails is really not difficult. Now if you said you wanted a bigger rig I could understand....

The rias are not that big so a gentle wander to say Vigo and tie up and have a coffe in the bar, back on board for dinner ,read a book and something different than sloops?

The idea of living above water level, and looking out of 'windows' to the anchorage has great appeal - unless you are cheek by jowl in a marina :(

Now I suppose, in the absence of a Fisher it would be a Hanse Moody DS.......

I believe that is the Fisher 32 - not a model that was built in the UK.

I remember looking enviously at such a boat as we beat up the Kyles of Bute in a Wayfarer, them cozy, warm and dry, us experiencing the raw elemental Scottish weather. But frustration at their sailing ability would have me looking enviously from the cockpit of a Fisher at most boats as they sail past
