I didnt know it when i woke up this morning that I would end up with a new boat by the end of the day. We have bought a very nice Fairline Targa 31 which the previous owner kindly installed brand new Volvo Kad43`s for me /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Ive been told she should be good for around 41 Knots. Heres a few pics.

Now for the not so good bit. I`m now the owner of 2 boats,2 lots of insurance, 2 lots of mooring fees, and 2 lots of bloody cleaning every weekend!
The Rinker has to go and quick! All offers gratfully recieved so I can use the money to spend on bloo led`s!

Been there & done that.

We purchased a Targa 28 with new twin Kad32's, best thing we ever did.
Just needed to sell our old sealine 240 which didn't take to long.

Fantastic looking boat by the way & just in time for the summer season.
Well done.

Did you have fun with the Rinker in the relatively short time you had her? Im sure you did.

Good luck with the new boat. Very nice indeed.

Ahh glad your back into bigger boating, ive just bought a princess 410 from moodys yad on the hamble spent 2 nice days there all ok on sea trial then went to gunwharf today and lost an engine on the way back guess the wind was a good 5 this afternoon, not much fun rolling and waiting for the other one to pack up, anyway we got into shamrock quay late but better than never, it was just a blocked filter.

But never trust anyone who says it been serviced recently when i dont think it had, i take my hat off to solent cg they stood by till i got to hamble spit then a mate was standing by, the one who likes a drink and drives, see my earlier post!.

Well done to staff at shamrock quay who got me on a berth without a scratch too.

Enjoy the new toy she looks luvly.

Well done Paul,

Looks to be in tidy condition, a good find me thinks! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Eastbourne to Chi' approx 1 hour then? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good luck with the Rinker sale and enjoy the summer. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You don't hang around!!!
The Targa looks great, and lovely condition too!!!

As i said before, I'd be interested in the Rinker, but I thought you said you'd change next year. Its too soon for us, unfortunately for us, we aren't on the market this year.
What length is she, I can't remember, is it a 240? What sort of money are you looking for?

Good luck with the new boat, and don't forget the pics.

Cheers

Al.

Thanks for the kind comments chaps. Hoping to spend more time in the Solent soon. We will be coming down first 2 weeks in August. Will try and get some more pics posted this weekend.
Al--sorry I peaked early on the Rinker for you. Looking to try and get my money back although I spent out on new manifolds for the engine and a cover extension and hot water giblets. Its on with the Brokers for £16995 but first guy with £15500 will have his arm yanked off. Its now in turn key nick with everything serviced and antifouled and polished. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Heres the spec

Looks luvverly..... yes good for 40 kts, but will feel a bit skittish at that.
loves to cruise at 30kts and feels happiest there. 3250revs.

havnt seen one with the cream worktop, mine has the grey granite.
PM if you have any queries.

Yes that was the price when I wasnt that serious about selling. Should be changed tomorrow. I`m thinking of sticking it on Ebay--you never know. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

thought you were waiting until later to make your next purchase! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I can only hazard a guess that you must have almost purloined it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

nice looking boat Paul,

yea, must have had a buyme, buyme, buyme all over it

Thanks Dave. You could say it came in at the right money /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif As for waiting---well your a long time dead and I`ve decided to say sod it to the diesel dilema. Looking forward to having a beer with you if your around 1st 2 weeks of August? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
