Alive again......

For the last few weeks my P32 has been like a body without a heart while the new fuel tank was being made and fitted.
Anyway, bazh kindly gave me a hand yesterday and at around 2pm the engines were started up after changing the diesel filters and bleeding the system.
Strange how the boat suddenly seemed to be a living thing again as my hands moved the throttles and gave her a few minutes under load to scare the ducks away.
Brought back memories of the big ships when we arrived in drydock and shut down all ships systems.....it was as if the ship died...........

ooh yeah, and what mental torment. "Baz go to the bog and get fetch the toolbox" At this point I feel like saying "woof".

Then theres the chinese puzzle of how to get a 2 gallon bucket into a half gallon hole. Must admit I had to stiffle a snigger watching the old boy trying to sort that one. So I put him out of his misery and got a knife. Raising it high above my head poised to plunge. Downward swing and you could hear the cries for miles. Still the old oil container with the side cut out was easier to get under the filters.

Then theres "go fill this with water from the tap". I did after about 10 mins trying to find the end of the hose that only had one end and that was securely fastned to the tap!

I had hair yesterday. Alapeshia set in list night. Doctor reckons its from the stress.

In the interests of accuracy of reporting (well, reasonable accuracy) readers should substitute as follows:
Baz.....go to.........Reality.....please would you mind.......
Baz......therell all bleedin' black........Reality.....only two anyway and other on is blue/red
Baz....felt like saying 'woof'....Reality....He was most upset when I turned up without bogbrush

I watched him trying to find the end of the hose.....it was quite amusing really!

I have to say his cut out old oil container was very effective, full marks for that.
