I already have a few pairs stashed on the boat, in the Motorhome & at home.
They are light & comfortable, mine do have deep "razor cut" incisions in the sole & are perfectly good on the decks or in the club. They are also leather uppers which came as a surprise when I first saw them. They also seem to cope with seawater & mud reasonably well if you should fail to reach dry land in a single step.
Mind you, I think I paid only about 12 quid for mine, they are not that popular in the Midlands in the winter, so they are likely to get remaindered & reduced in a week or three.

I am wearing mine, bought last night. If the soles aren't razor cut then I can't tell the difference.
Just the job. I finally had to consign my old Chathams to the bin when the soles wore through completely, so the timing is perfect.

I doubt that ANY are actually cut by razors, but I checked today & the Aldi ones still have the deep zigzag cuts in the sole that I always thought were called "razor cut".

I saw a pair on Thurs when I was in there. looked good and I would have bought a pair if my wife hadn't said "not another pair of deck shoes?"

I bought some last year and they are great, my tip is watch for them 'NOT' selling, I bought mine when they moved them to 'Special Buys' at £10.99
