Has to be - although we've never bothered because the length of the queue that builds up BEFORE they even open has put us off. Never seen that anywhere else for a chippie.

Yes.

I don't know what they do that's different, but apart from fresher fish their batter tastes better and the chips are not greasy.

And the litter squad of seagulls (mainly immature black headed, some adults and some immature and a couple of adult herring gulls) on Aldeburgh beach ensures there is no mess!

After all the good comments, here and elsewhere, thought we would queue up and try some, "large" cod and chips twice. Also, chips were full of eyes and other black lumps so not impressed. If these were large, can't imagine what the small are like! Won't be bothering to queue here again but guess we would have regretted it had we not experienced it!
