It would be a big help if you could post some photos of it.
Is it an all alloy one with the in-hull heat exchanger or direct sea water cooling.
also is it a "Continental".

I think you need to go to a different forum, may I recommend CMBA

My limited knowledge would say a 4 seater Albatross is rarer than the 2 seater and the climax engine is the one to have, a lot I believe have the 1600 side valve engines..which lack a bit of power, but a hoot to drive. Best guesstimate from me £6500 if lovely, £2500 if basket case....forgive me if I am wildly out

Very interesting, let me know how you get on if possible.

We have 2 Albatross's with C Climax engines, a 2 seater and a 4 seater, last used on Windermere, the 2 seater has a Stage 3 tuned engine with twin carbs, racing cams etc. 1 of 3 made in this spec apparently. I am trying to research its history

We may be looking to sell one to raise some cash for other projects, both owned for about 40/50 years, the 2 seater from new.

I have pics if your keen, both boats need a good wash!

Kind Regards

Edward
