Albania - ???

Maybe I got the wrong forum before ! - put it on scuttlebut

Thinking of going to Albania and bit short of data - like - do you need a cruising permit (if so, how much) - whats it like for diesel & water, Supplies & moorings ?#

Are the natives friendly ???

Often thought of the idea.....

...but those formidable dark grey patrol boats put me of. Then there's my insurance company expressly forbidding it.

Agios Stephanos is the nearest we get but the locals there say it's OK to go across!

You haven't read the Accursed Mountains then.... I wouldn't go near the place. An eye opening account of Albania.

There is a day trip from Corfu Town to Saranda Thursdays. Try that for a taster and if you still want to go - the best of luck. If you do and leave your boat anywhere pay someone to guard it.
