Akerboom Cruisers

Gwen and I are restoring a 1960 40 ft Akerboon twin diesel Cruiser. We have found one other one located in France (hi Jacques if you see this) . My question is does anyone know of any more Akerbooms and / or can anyone provide any info at all ???

Hi there, My father had a 36 twin screw akerboom hulled cruiser. Aft cabin. Built 1960 as I recall. LLyods Registered as "White Swan". Twin Albin Petrol parafin engines. Not fast but comfortable cruising. Nice lines. A fine boat in her day. She may still be around, Im not sure. I hope all goes well with your project. regards, Les.
