Hi just wondering for singlehanded sailors is there an AIS set with a capability for an audible alarm if there is a risk of collision. say when down below asleep?

NASA AIS "Radar" has an audible alarm if any vessel comes within a set distance, but it doesnt differentiate between vessels that are close and those that will hit you.

Seaclear has a quite sophisticated collision alarm driven by own boat projected track and the projected track AIS targets. Is settable for CPA and tCPA. The pooter speaker is not really loud enough though. One of my winter projects is to run the pooter speaker, VHF, and entertainment radio through a priority switch to the saloon and cockpit speakers. Rather like the priorty system in cars for entertainment, RDS traffic, and mobile phone ring
