Yes, I am referring to the NASA engine. I am developing a software for dedicated AIS-receivers, as they minimize processor load and are very easy to install and handle and the risk of missing targets is very small. Yacht-AIS software will be capable of displaying AIS-data in the standard IMO-symbology and will calculate CPA and TCPA for every target and give an alarm if a danger of collision arises. It will be ready by april, screenshots are now available.

Sounds fine. I am just preparing this softwaresolution for my ship PC .

I´ve just recently heared from Shipplotter.

What kind of chart do you use.
I think it should wourk with a blank bmp as rasterchart, so we could see only the ships and their position. Is then the own position in the center or do we have to simulate our own pos via a faked AIS sentence via NMEA ?

Thanks for the info as I am not able to receive any testdate her (preparing software while wintering on land).
