Airdraft . Fairline Turbo 36.

Hello,
I would say ask Superheat of this parish. He will give you the answer +/- 5mm. He had one your years.

Happy Summer, Colin.

Give me a break.

However, arch down it will go under the A27 bridge on the Hamble if you can see at least one complete red mark on the post below the big house just before the last bend before Moody's. That means on top of most Springs up to ~5m height of tide.

I did measure this and vaguely recall it being about 3.5m. I do have one parked next to me now at Foulkes so I can measure it for you if you wish (Rocksteadee of this parish).

Arch up the air draft might vary according to arch type - mine had the earlier stainless steel frame style, but after 1988 they had a sleeker looking GRP arch.

I was just going to ask what year T36 and is stainless or GRP mast. With mine down (GRP mast) it just fits under Windsor Bridge with maybe 100mm to spare. Windsor Bridge is stated as having a clearance of 4.01m. Obviously depends on the height of the river. I have only done it once which was last weekend and the river height might of been slightly higher than normal but as I have only just got the boat on the Thames cannot confirm what the normal height of the river was.

Why not just measure one, you're surrounded by them!

Thanks for all replies.
Think we will have to park alongside a T36 and get out the tape measure
We have 12 Turbos on club moorings and another three or four immediately nearbye.
One of which is departing soon to the "Med" via the canals.
Must not forget the three Sedan 36 either.

Thought Rochester was on the Med? :D

According to my highly scientific method of dangling over the side with a tape measure, trying to guess the highest point, I make it 3.7M with a couple more inches available by removing the nav pod on the flybridge :)

Measured tonight on a post 1988 with plastic arch.

Top of arch to top fly screen = ~ 1.1m

Top of fly screen to deck = ~1.9m

Deck to water = ~ 1.5m

So arch down = ~3.4m

Arch up = 4.5m + any attachments e.g Radomes etc.

Interesting to note that my Corvette although shorter is about the same height arch down.
