The picture of the Sealine aground on the front cover of the latest (June) PBO, is that of our prevous boat, BUT I hasten to add, taken after we had sold her!!. The boat is/was resident in Chichester Marina, and the new owner misjudged the amount of water on the Winner! No damage was evidently done (except, no doubt to pride), and it is not clear whether or not the dog was successful in pulling it back to deep water.....

Twas nearly me. Coming down from Chi marina, I asked the wife to take the helm so I could have a pee. 'Follow the boat ahead' I suggested.

Anyway a couple of minutes later I came back up to find she was indeed following instructions, with the lead boat just about to cross the Winner.

Hmm, lessons learnt

But it did not appear to have any props - or is it the angle the picture was taken?

I'd rather be sailing... :-) /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Dick - the boat has outdrives, that would have been knocked upwards, or electrically raised by the crew, depending on how hard they touched the ground I guess. I did gather they floated off and continued their journey several hours later with no damage. .
