Aggressive Range Boat

You dont have to obey any orders that the range boats or range control may try to impose on you.bearing that in mind you would think they would be more polite.

On Admiralty charts there is usually a note to that end.

But while you are enjoying a nice sail in the danger area a hundred or so of our troops are sat on their arse waiting to resume training.

Soldiers get allocated only so many range days .You may have prevented them training prior to a tour in Iraq or some other war zone.If your sons or daughters were involved wouldnt you want them to get as much training as possible?

Bullshit. I always call before hand, but have learnt it's a waste of time. They never fire on the days they say they will. These days I just head out a bit,and if the range boats want to play games, I can out run them.

I'd be more than happy to stay outside range area if they fired when they said they were, but instead they seem to put down blanket dates, and only fire a few times between these.
