AG GUIDI SEA STRAINERS

Just measure the internal diameter and then add the thickness of the o ring. In my case I’ve just bought 10 no 147mm x 4mm so that’s 155mm od o rings for £10 from simply bearings fit my strainers. I avoid anything with marine in the title due to the huge uplift

Well I have guidi strainers, 2 inch hose connections and the o ring size is 147x4. They make a lot of models though. I’ll get a picture

Sorry for the question as yours must be the same , which is great but I am trying to sus the 147 I’d and 155 od and 4 mm cra. Also what type of rubber are they.

I’m quoting from the Simply Bearings site as that’s who I use for all of this kind of component. Nitrile O rings are all that’s needed for cooling water. The internal diameter is 147mm so 4 mm thickness gives an outside diameter of 155mm. O rings are ordered on their inside diameter and thickness

Am I being thick, 147 +4=151???????

How are these square o-ring dimensions calculated?

Timeless2 a big thank you I ordered 4 and they fit perfectly, top man and a cheap fix , now for those maths lessons .
