We have been using Jotun Seaquantum Ultra successfully and achieving a 2 year life with 2 good coats.
Its that time again.
I notice that here in Oz there is another AF in the International line up viz Micron AP. They are both ablative. Does anyone have any experience?
We compared Micron Extra 2 with Seaquantum and thought Seaquantum was better - b ut it is a bit subjective.
I note that Micron AP costs about 30% per litre more than Micron Extra 2 (here) and that peculiarly AP has a coverage of 4m^2 per litre whereas Extra 2 has a coverage of 10m^2/litre - which increases paint costs factorially (I can forget the difference in price per litre - coverage, or lack of, for the AP is appalling (and maybe a mistake). I am aware that due to variations in environmental requirement between Oz and the UK there may be differences in formulation - and some AFs common to you (or us) are simply not available (to you (or us).
Price here for 10l is roughly stg450 for AP and stg290 for Extra 2 (our VAT is 'only' 10%
Any comments
