If you really believe a cheap ioniser with steel spikes (instead of carbon brushes) will really help, then why not spend less on one of these? Amazon.co.uk

I placed an order for two earlier in the year, and was disappointed to then find out there was a 'manufacturing lead time' of about 8 weeks. Apparently because they're so popular the 'small Canadian company' was 'struggling to keep up with massive demand..'
I smelt a small rodent when I got a shipping notice a few days later - from a company in China - saying it was on its way. Presumably on one of those huge "One" container ships that nearly run us down every other day in the Solent
I kept the faith and waited.... waited.... waited. And then Evri lost it at this end!!
Apart from the fact that what looks distinctly like a drop-shipping operation, sending tat from China, had my money for four months, free of charge, it looks like I dodged a bullet here.

It looks like what used to be popular as an ioniser some years ago. We had one, and it did seem to remove a small amount of dust from the air but, in the end, it got put in a cupboard and, eventually, off to a charity shop.
A waste of money, IMO.
Do they come from the same factory as those 600w heaters that will "heat a large room in less than a minute"?

It's worrying so many respond on those Facebook ads with "personal experience of how great they are". They're either fake reviews or the people writing them also participate in placebo drug testing.

My money's on fake reviews. From what I gather, you can buy them from companies in India for a few pounds per hundred.

A collegue married a girl from Hong Kong. He bought back lots of cheap electrical stuff as well as early digital watches in plastic cases. He said they were sold wholesale for $20 US a kilo. Carried in plastic buckets on a pole over the shoulder in and out of the workshops and wharehouse.
Aeropure is snake oil.
