I placed an order for two earlier in the year, and was disappointed to then find out there was a 'manufacturing lead time' of about 8 weeks. Apparently because they're so popular the 'small Canadian company' was 'struggling to keep up with massive demand..'

A waste of money, IMO.
Do they come from the same factory as those 600w heaters that will "heat a large room in less than a minute"?
It's worrying so many respond on those Facebook ads with "personal experience of how great they are". They're either fake reviews or the people writing them also participate in placebo drug testing.Yes. I'd seen the adverts and thought, "Snake oil", but I'd seen that video a few days before posting, which is why I thought of them.
My money's on fake reviews. From what I gather, you can buy them from companies in India for a few pounds per hundred.
