I think the lock down proper of last Spring high lighted the amount of full time live aboards at this marina to the management and caused an issue as the site was ‘closed’ to berth holders.
I think possibly people desperate to access their boats told ‘no entry’, while looking over the fence they see the live aboard community carrying on as normal, a source of friction.
I’ve lived in this marina (if I’ve correctlyidentified it) and kept my head down and boat mobile but knew trouble would come at some point.
The writing was on the wall when the swipe cards for entry/facilities block linked to an individual were introduced. Instant confirmation you’re there everyday and in breach of T&C’s.
Obviously a PITA for all still floating under the radar but not unexpected. During my time there one live aboard individual smashed the facilities block up repeatedly, while getting himself banned from every licensed premises in the area and smoking weed in the marina all day and night.
New management, new broom.
